tranny question

    While sitting at stop signs the last two days my tranny
    has been slipping out of gear and going back in when
    I let off the break. It is a auto so what the heck is going on.
    It shifts fine. its is leaking a bit from the pan what is going on in there TIA

    HEY Fords!!! how many flushes does it
    take to get rid of you

    Sounds like your loosing some clutches or a touque inverter. Drop the pan asap and check the filter. It might be plugging up and you will shell it if you let it go. A new filter and fluid doesn't cost much. If there is a lot of material in the pan and filter, get ready for a rebuild, it won't be long.

    I have seen trannys do this when the pump can't build pressure to keep things applied. At lower rpm, the pressure drops. I would drop the pan and check that filter. If that looks good, prepare yourself. What tranny do you have?
