I have a 305/700r4 that seems to shift into second gear too early and it does not like to downshift when the power is lacking up hill. When it finally downshifts it is pretty hard. all else seems fine with the shifting but second gear seems to be the problem. Apparently the tranny had been rebuilt not too long ago. is there something that may have been done during the rebuild that could cause this issue.

i would agree but the overdrive is nice. however I heard that there is a kit to make a 400 have overdrive.
