dropped my truck off to shift masters and they are inept! They couldn't get the thing to work any better, and now it leaks more fluid than it did before.

I hope you have better luck. I still drive a truck that pounds into gear and leaks like a sive.

    I'm not impressed.

Seeing how Wendell is a personal friend of mine, have you taken it back,or let him know, or are u just mad and driving it?? Wendell will stand behind his warranty.
Also Wendell's shop is in Applewood there is others that are independently owned and operated. Where did u take yours??

Wendell seemed like a great guy and got me a really fair deal on the rebuild. It's like night and day driving this thing now, I never realized how much power I was losing w/the tranny slipping. Thanks again for the heads up on his shop /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

mine did the same thing- there is a vacuum hose attached to the carb/manifold going to the tranny- check it/reattach it and it will shift normal again.

I took mine to the shop on Wadsworth. I don't remember dealing with anyone named Wendel. I am driving it as is. Leaking like a sive, shifting hard, and slipping. I would love to get it resolved- My driveway has an enormous ATF fluid stain.

Pretty sure that shop closed but Dave is the owner of that one and he has others. Wendell bought the Applewood location from him. Maybe a call to him can get you in the right direction. None of my stuff leaks that he has fixed. I hate leaks...

I figured it would be a vacuum hose, I needed to take it back for a checkup anyway. After looking at the leak closer I think it's my tcase leaking /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
