    can i swap out a th350 with a th400 on the same t case if the th400 is built to match up to a 203? or does the np203 have to modified too?

    1974 Chevy Blazer Cheyanne. lots of plans for it....
    but it is on 33'2 now, with saggy old springs. i am in so cali if ya got any parts for me.

    The TH 350 and TH 400 have a differnet output spline count. The TH 350 had a 27 spline output and the TH 400 has a 32 spline output. If your set on a 400/203 combo you'll need the 203 that originally came behind a 400.
    Another option is the 400/205 form a K30, but these might be harder to come by...[​IMG]

    Check the For sale forum under parts, its very active and usually there are a lot of cool parts there.

    thanks alot. is it possible to order the 203 input shaft for the 400?

    Contact Stephen Watson at ORD, he is the guru of 203's and 205's and doublers. He has his very own forum here, if you're lucky and he's not too busy you should get the definitive answer...

    YEs, but it would probably be cheaper just to buy a used 203 for a TH400.
