    Tranny/T-case Q\'s

Ok I did a search and I keep coming up short. Here are my questions.

1.The 400 and 241 can be mated ith a different input on the T-case right?

2.Where do I get the replacement shaft? Is there an adaptor kit?

    3.How hard is this swap?

    Thanks
    -Brian

To mate a 241 to a TH400 you need a 32 spline input gear. You don't need a T-case mainshaft. The input gear is easy to swap in...

Beyond that I guess you'd need a 400/208 adaptor (6 bolt round pattern) and you should be good to go.

32 spline input's are easy to find...check the 88 and up IFS rigs with the 5 speed Getrag tranny, they're all 32 spline.

Here are pics are two different adapters... both accomplish the same thing but work with different crossmembers. You should be able to find them at most wrecking yards.
