Ok I am redoing the jimmy and I twin sticked the 205. The shifting pattern is shorter and wider than the original.

My question is does a 2 wheel drive blazer / jimmy have the same tunnel cover? It would be nice if I could get one that was solid so I could cut the size of hole I want for the t case shifters.

    Thanks.

Pretty sure that all 2wd autos had the small tunnel
but anything with a SM465 will have the big tunnel

i believe that the older ones do have them but you need to find one with a big hump and not a small one /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Actually you can buy bolt in tunnels that have no holes cut yet, not sure what they cost, but I got one a few years ago for my burb, and we just cut along the indention for the 208 shifter. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I figure it would have to be from a 1st gen 69 - 72. I might be better off just patching it and starting over. It will be covered with speed liner anyway. thanks.

Skratch: Did ya buy it from the dealer or where????
