trans cooler

    does anyone know which line is the return line? top or bottom? i have a 700r4

    Top coming off radiator is return.

    Top, on the radiator, I believe it is also the top on the trans but not 100%. Just trace the line back from the top of the radiator /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    i believe the bottom is the return to cooler line..just pop the line off and crank the motor to see which way the fluid flows.. btw nice user name /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    thanks ill try the top line, i cant crank it up and tell because my tranny is not in the truck right now im just trying to get some other work done

    It's top, trust me. Want proof - how about an engine compartment covered in ATF when the tranny cooler hose (which I have plumbed into the top port of the radiator) popped off on the highway. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
