Hey guys Im trying to figure out what size and thread count the outer transmission mount bolts are. On the 86 K5 it is the outer 2 bolts that go into the tailshaft.
    Thanks in advance.

not sure exactly what bolts you are talking about, so...
with a 700r4, the bolts on the back that the adapter bolts to are a 10mm 1.5 TPI (im guessing on the thread count, its the course thread)
the mounting pad the 2wd tranny mount sits on is 10mm 1.5TPI (again guessing on the thread count)

those are the only bolt holes i can think of unless you are taking the adapter, then im almost positive its a 3/8" corse thread bolt. thats what i used in my truck when i had the short adapter.
