Truck:88' blazer 6.2 N/A trans rebuild about 5,000 miles ago, trans cooler, maybe a shift kit(not very sure)700r Auto. Trans fluid doesnt look burnt at all and very clean.

Here's the problem when its warmed up. It shifts from 1st to 2nd normal, but as soon as it hits 2nd it shifts up to 3rd within in 1 to 2 seconds. Then my truck starts to dog/bog alittle so then I'll put my foot alittle into it then it will downshift back to 2nd and then it wont shift back to 3rd till the RPM's are pretty high. It shifts into overdrive fine, and reverse. But usually if I'm not going over 50MPH I'll keep it in 3rd to keep it from jumping between OD and 3rd when in city traffic.

I've put about 3000 miles on the truck myself and never had a problem like this. I drove it from SD to IA, and then to CO, without any kind of problem, but it wasnt nearly this hot out.

Also does anyone happen to know a good trans shop in colorado springs area?

    thanks for the help,
    Woods
