Ok i have a 700r4 and the problem i have is it started to leak fluid out of the front houseing i am assumeing it is out of the front pump seal is this a common thing. Can i put a new seal in and be good or should i put in a rebuilt one out of one of my other trucks and call it a day.

On the t-case when goin over 50 and you let off the gad you get a changing sound any ideas. Everything in the rear end gears to u-joints to brakes is all new plus it sounds like the middle of the truck. Thanks Denny

It could be the pump shaft seal, OR the pump seal itself, either way, just replacing the seal the seal that's leaking should get you back on the road. You have to remove the Torque converter either way. As to the sound, it's tough to say without hearing it. It could be normal, it could be trouble, can't say without hearing it.
