Do the TH700R4 and the TH350 use the same transfer adapter? I found a fixed yoke NP205 that will be free if it will even swap.

I don't know. I have a picture of the adapters for TH350, TH400 and an SM465. But unfortunately, I do not know whcih (if any) of those fits a TH700R4. I can email the picture to you if you want though.

I researched this swap and found that yes the th350 adapter will work but the output shafts on the 2 trannys are different so you will need a conversion tailshaft. Otherwise advanced adapters I believe makes something to adapt them together

If the t-case, adapter, and drivesleeve (27 female spline) are from a TH350, it will work but you will have to get a new output shaft for the 700r4 which requires a teardown of the tranny (advanced adapters sells the correct adapter, which is actually a new output shaft) or get a spacer that goes between the transmission and the adapter, but it adds significant length. The advantage of the spacer is that it gives you more room for front driveshaft clearance. The 700r4's pan kicks out quite a bit on the passenger side and when it is coupled to an NP205 can create clearance issues. Several people who have this combo have had to alter the tranny pan to keep the driveshaft from hitting. Some pound the corner in, and some cut and reweld the pan, which is the route I chose because I had them mated with the correct output shaft in the tranny rather than using the spacer..
