TRansfer case ID?

    My friends got a 69 chevy shortbed 4x4 and its got a 4 speed tranny.I cant tell if the tranny is a 465 or a 420 and I definitley have no Idea what the transfer case is.I am very familiar with the 203,205,208 etc.......This looks like a dana spicer model 20 or 300 or something Ive seen in a Heep before.Anyone got any ideas?Help please!!!!!!!!

    Didn't about 69 or earlier K/5s and trucks have the Dana 20 T-case avalible also?

    Probably an SM465 tranny and a rockwell 220(?) transfer case.

    Also should be an SM465.

    420 was used from 47-67 and 465 from 68-88 and NV4500 replaced the 465 in 89

    rockwell was 67-68 or 69 and dana20 is with standard 6 cyl models only, no V8 ones got the 20 case


    run it til it breaks, fix it, and break it again!
