transfer case problems

    was driving the other day in 4 hi and there was a loud pop now i cant move the shifter iiinto any thing but 2 hi seem to drive fine any ideas what would cause this just had the trans replaced could thay have not gotton some lined up right ? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

    I don't see how they could mess anything up by just installing a tranny.
    I would start by draining the T-Case oil and see if there is any metal in it.
    I wish I could be more help but I'm not a T-Case guy.
