Had a good day of wheeling today.

Thought I was going to have some carnage today:

I was hung up on the t-case skid plate. The rear drive shaft was barely hitting the rock, but it was enough to cause the slip yoke seal to leak. I have some "beauty rings" on the drive shaft. Didn't score it bad, just scraped some rust off.

I also jepordized my membership in the Sheet Metal Gang by adding a couple of dents to my truck.

I'm sure Rich (fwdjunky) will post some pictures when he gets a chance. He made it back just in time to work a 12 hr shift. Kevin's misfortune was just a minor inconvenience :D LESSON - Have spare tire for trailer TOO!!!!

I had an awesome time!! Good trip & super nice to get out of the city and into the hills for a few days. With John failing to show up AGAIN, I stepped in with some spotting. Without a rig, this was as close as I could get to the action. Few tight spots for the full size crew, but no major carnage.

But most of all, I'm just glad noone got food poisoning

Oh, and Sweet Pea (dog) told me she had fun as well :p: If I could just teach her to drive, I could have slept on the way home instead of her :D She couldn't have done much worse that than Burb I followed home :D

I was just glad we showed up when we did. Leaving the ATV at Mom & Dads is much better than hiding it in the woods.

Here are some of the pics I took. My neighbor brought over some new tires/wheels for the trailer. Guess what, his are five lug and my hubs are 4 lug.

You got some awesome pics, Kevin.

I hope fred2mihi leaves you enough gas in the ATV to load on the trailer when you pick it up.

Looks like you guys had a blast. Wish I could have make it up.

The good side for me is that we banked on the Estate sale.

Now I've never heard this out of my Wife's mouth before. "Sweetie, why don't you take a couple thousand dollars and spend it on your projects".

Bwhahahahahahahahahah! Oh yea baby. What to buy next. :D

    Looks like some fun there.
Dam, another trip missed and to think I'll be down there for a wedding next weekend within a couple miles from the trail head :dunno: .
    Maybe next time I guess.
We can still do the M&G up here sometime and go do a little wheelin up here too if the snow ever goes away.
Glad you had a good time. Humm, looks like your spotter (nudge) might not have protected that sheet metal too good  . WTF?.....J/k :D
    cool pics.

Yea, maybe the interim spotter should have spent more time spotting and less time taking pictures...

This "interim spotter" thinks it also had a little to do with the skinny petal there :D Yeah, that was a tight fit.

Next time I'm putting arsenic in your breakfast ;)

    WAY late on this

Ok guys, I know I am Waaay late on getting these up. Work, school, and the ever present task of drinking beer and chasing (unsuccessfully I might add) ladies has consumed almost all of my time this week. Also, Burblover was running my camera, and as has already been discussed ad nauseum, he can't spot and take pictures at the same time, so I didn't get many shots. Ok, ok, MAYBE I had the camera set to a 5 second delay between pictures.....MAYBE that had something to do with not being able to get alot of good action shots...maybe. I still blame him. Anyway, here are a couple to show more of our day. My son and I had a BLAST with the CK5 crew, we really need to do these more often!

    The view for breakfast...

Another of B to C in the squeeze...

And one of my son and I on the double whammy...

I was wondering when you were going to get some pics posted. I really like that first pic. That is really cool.

That was first thing in the morning, before you guys showed up. As always, the picture doesn't really do it justice. I wish someone had caught you taking your unique line over the squeeze.

Depends how you feel about body damage. We all came out of that trail with at least one good sized dent.

I haven't wheeled with anybody that has a burb, so I don't know how bad it would be.
