whenever i turn a corner, it will just die all of a sudden. no sputtering or anything...it just dies. i was thinking something electrical. i took the carb all apart and cleaned everything. it is the edelbrock 1407 carb. i got to everything but the low speed circuits on it....cuz i have no idea where exactly those are. in the manual it says to blow them out. i took out the idle tuning screws and cleaned out the holes where they go in with carb and choke cleaner. i also replaced the fuel filter and moved the fuel line away cuz i thought i might have been vapor locking. now im starting to lean towards electrical. mayb something in the steering colum itself. i have no clue n e more. give me some ideas. thanx

Somebody else had the same symptoms last week and it was wigint problem down by the starter. Think he said one of the fusable links was bad.

Is your tilt column loose? My regal did this for a while. Fixed the column and it went away.

Mine didn't start right away either.
Only on left hand turns too, then straighten it out and turn right back on.

The only way it's going to be as a result of the loose steering wheel is if it's somehow binding the lock. The electrical part is down on the column by the brake peddle. All that is up at the key is the colum lock and a linkage rod that controls the switch down near the peddle on the top of the column.

If it's a electrical problem then it's down there. I still lay odd that you problem is under the hood down where the starter wires are. Trace that harness all the way up the fire wall and meter it out.
