Sweet! Nice video too. Give us more! How many trucks did you run against? Run 2 or 4 wheel drive? Locker and gears for next year?

Nice job man! That is my favorite motorsport (sorry guys/gals). Do you know how much the sled was weighted, or were you carrying extra weight? Reason I ask is most K5's can't even pull ours. Not that they aren't powerful enough to move the sled, but since our sled has alot of added weight, the lighter K5's don't get enough traction. Even in my K20, I add over 800 lbs for pulling, otherwise I have too much wheel spin.
If you try it again, you may want to consider adding more weight for traction (we have scales and limit the amount to 6200 lbs with driver), but be warned more weight = more traction which can lead to breakage. Good Luck.

Anyways, good job, I assume you were pulling with heavier vehicles so a 5th place finish is excellent! And that K5 is sweet (although I did not see the CK5 sticker on it though /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif)

P.S. Does the club that put on the pulls have a website or contact. I am in the process of creating one for our club and would like more info. Thanks Chris

Not sure how much the sled weighted but it does move the weight up forward has you go forward. I was in the 4500 to 5500 class I added about 300 pds on the front.. So my total weight was 5300.. I could have added another 200 pds.. So I pulled within my weight class. There was a 4500 and under class I was hoping to get in in there. But I couldn't go on that fast of a diet.. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif There was one blazer that made it in that class.. And I beleave she won it..
