Well ya its bling during the week (no guns).
It gives me a place to rest them while they cool.
I can hang stuff on them when I camp, too.

I've really been wanting to fab up some totally rediculous but undeniably cool automatic sheath for my shotgun in the trunk of my car. Pop the trunk and hit the switch and whammo, easy access.

With tuned springs to pop it out of the sheath, just right to grab the grip. Needs to come with the full head vinyl Clint Eastwood.:haha:

In the pic is what it looks from inside out through factory dark. From outside it doesn't register unless you're looking for it.
I'll post some detail pics and a review later today or tomorrow.

Rednecks have em... but in cali youll have the man pointing his gun at you... I mean really... doesnt take any brain surgeon policeman who pulls you over to say.. hmm lets see should I point my gun at him before he takes his out of the rack... anyway...in montana it wouldnt be noticed... here... youd find that a beretta hurts when its screwed in your ear...

I prefer the lo pro approach... so I either
carry a collapsable assault weapon or have my shotgun in a rack horizontal on the floorboard...
I dont broadcast I have a gun... its dumb...

can you even imagine how long that window would last in L.A. with that thing hanging there

shotgun in the trunk... well its kinda like having a rubber in your car while lying on the beach neekeed and willing... anyway,, the heat of cali isnt good for storage there..

galls.. many companies sell nice mounts for horizontal.. and yes trunk mount

It is indeed a neck. Luckily for whoever's neck it is, it is not a broken neck. :-)

I bought some of the suction cup style gun racks for mine. they held up pretty good but didn't keep the gun in there when I wasn't hunting so I don't know how they'll hold up with long period use.

they did make great fishing pole racks, too.
