True tire measurements. Reply here. *I\'m looking for 36/12.5 SX.*

I did a search, with no luck. So, I thought it might be usefull to pool our collective tape measures togather and post some "ture" measurements of our tires.

Copy/Past and fill in the blanks.

    Tire type/style and size -
    Overall tire height -
    Tread width -
    Section width -
    Rim Dia and Width -
    % of tread wear -

    Tire type/style and size: Like, BFG Mud Tarrain T/A 35/12.5 X 15.
Overall height: Measure the loaded tire height, witth street air pressure (30 + PSI)
Tread width: Measure the width of the contact patch, with Super Swampers, ball-park the lugs.
Section Width: Overall width, maximum width of the tire's sidewalls
Rim dia and Width: This can have a impact over the overall measurements.
% of tread wear: 100% would be new, O% would be into the cords.

    *I really need the measurements for a 36 X 12.5 15 SuperSwamper SX.*
If someone has this tire, and could get the measurements, I would be very greatfull!

    OK, I run

    35x12.5x16 Super Swamper SSR's
    Mounted on 16x10 589's
    Actual height 34.25"
    Tread width - 12" apx
Section width - no idea, need a huge set of calipers........
Have about 5K on them, wearing great.

    FYI - Shannon (mudhog) has

    38x13x16 TSL's (non-radial)
Overall tire height - are you ready? 36"
6.5" wheel width (think that's what he said)
No other measurements, maybe he can help ya.
    Brand new tires.

Kinda ridiculous the actual height measurements vs. advertised............Cheech from Up in Smoke - "Hey, man, that's false advertising!"

Twiztid, I have 36x12.50 x 16.5 Super Swamper TSLs . I used the spare for measurements which has not been used so it has 100% tread. I pushed the tire up against a wall on its side and used a level and tape measure to get these measurements:
    Height = 36.0 inches
    Section width = 12.75 inches
Tread width= about 11 inches (hard to measure due to lugs).
    Rim Size= 16.5x9.75 inches
    Hope it helps!

The "Deleted By Twiztid" replys are nothing more than "Thank yous" and such. (evidently, you can-not erase a reply after a certain amount of time)
Replys deleted in an effort to keep the post un-cluttered.

Thanks, again to those that have contributed.
