    Kinda looks fimilar, where is Sand Lake ? Is it near Florence/ Coos Bay ?
    If soo I sent a week there in like 1990, and let me tell you Swampers and neah deep sand
    don't mix to well.

    no sand lake is is just south of tillamook the one you are thinking of i cant remember the name of right off hand but it is bigger than sand lake.

    Executioner, you are talking about the incredible Florence Sand Dunes...............much bigger area than Sand Lake.

    Yup, thats it, do you know if the area is still open, last I heard they were going to close it down ?
    I sure hope that its open, that Compition Hill was a blast.
