    Backward: 1113

    After Anti-Wrap Bar:

Just to add a little bit to this the before numbers were on 36" TSL's with a 350. The after numbers are with a 6.2 diesel and 39.5's. The diesel helped the forward number due to the extra weight compressing the front springs.

Rear suspension flex remained unchanged and frankly could have been better with the wheelwell's tubbed 4". The 39.5's rub the inners real hard in the rear now, but they're 2.5" wider and 3" taller than my old tires...

All the numbers are on a 20 degree ramp and I'll have pic's up in the next day or two./forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Now I have to work on being able to open my doors when it's crossed up.../forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif/forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Great job by Bill on this bar...it's the real deal and meets or exceeds every expectation we had!!!/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Full cage to stiffen up the body. Hurts the RTI a little but helps prevent your truck body from pulling apart at the seams. Mine was doing that before I installed the full cage.

Rene, I am working on the pricing of the "WrapBar" this afternoon. This would be a good time to let me know if there was any unusual stress to any of the parts that would need beefing up before I set a price. We are building 3 more units in the next couple of weeks, one for my truck and two that we will sell. I don't expect a lot of interest in these. Between the two of us we designed a high end product that really works well but is expensive to build. I will have the cost complete this week as we complete machining the two back plates from 1" steel plate. Thats what I need the cycle times for machining to complete the cost.

I haven't run across any weak area...you were kidding right? This thing is so over built it should outlast me and my truck by a long shot./forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

no you dont. you just need some tube doors. i can get out and in the truck EASY with mine on. but you got that white stuff... whats it called... oh yeah, SNOW...
nah, im serious though. they are nicer than crawling out the window, and hold the body from flex a bit.

Some dumb-ass exposed the whole film at the photo lab /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif So to get ramp pic's I have to do the whole deal over again and take the film to a different lab.

I'm pretty ticked off at the moment... /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif

I don't know how they are built, but based on what I spent for parts to do mine, that's probably not bad. I have about $400 into mine so far (Heim's, misalignments, DOM and friends are shocking).
