For a buffalo season-salt, pepper, and possibly some garlic works well. It's still tougher than beef, though. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

I've read that buffalo meat is leaner than beef, therefore healthier for someone.

Yes, this is true. The burgers and steaks are good, but the steaks tend to be tougher. Still good flavor! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif If you make it up around here, I will buy you a $2 buffalo burger to repay my indebtedness. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I grill buffalo steaks alot in the summer. I like it. If you ever get up here to the Rapid City area, I'd be happy to throw a buffalo steak on the grill for ya. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I haven't been able to find buffalo out here in California, so over the Internet is about the only access I have to it right now.

Hopefully, if everything works out in the next few years, I'll have easy access to it.
