Can ORD make a set of upper u-bolt plates for a D70HD with 4" axle tubes?

I think Steve is checking his scrap pile, he'll get back to you.

I figured he was checking to see if they could do it. I was just going to see if we could have an entire conversation with smilies. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

K5Drager, AFAIK GM never used the "up style" u-bolts on the D70HD. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

I hate to do this because it is a part we can build but since we're behind on normal stuff, you should start looking for a thick piece of plate and a drill press. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

THANKS for the offer Rob /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif but at this point I think I'm going with the square, down style u-bolts. I already have the u-bolts and hardware but I was thinking of doing a reversal if I could find an OE looking plate. It was just a thought.
