Tube doors for \'78 Chevy

Does anyone know of a company that makes steel tube doors for chevy's? I've seen these little half-doors on a jeep cherokee and a toyota around home but i've never seen them for Chevy.

We (Michael and Laketex) are making some, but it has been a slow process. I have managed to ship two sets out. Still waiting on some feedback to see if any changes are needed. Here are some shots:

I am going to be making some tube doors for sale like this:

http://community.webshots.com/photo/39142207/39144386qHFhvT

Features:
"snap on" canvas cover & plastic window
latch
made of 1" round tube
fit good enough to trip the "dome light" switch in the door jamb

Prolly won't have it all together till this fall tho.... (after Blazer Bash)

Marv, those look real good, but i wish they followed the body line a little more. i thought that when i looked at your doors a few months ago that they did follow the body line but with the canvas in there i just wish that it was angled out a little more.

TJ,

From a "looks" perspective, I can relate to what you're sayin....

But I've found that if it followed the outer edge of the fender more - I'd be hitting it against rocks and vegetation and such... which would make a quick end to the canvas cover!

So, it's really growing on me that the door is kinda "recessed". And the best bonus is the added visibility while wheelin'..!

i totally agree with the off roading aspect of the recessed, i didn't think about that. they definately add visibility. thanks marv.
