tube doors

    anyone have a link on building tube doors? the latch would be the biggest pain i would guess! i have a couple ideas you guys might like?:D just wan't to get a little more info thanks:cool1:

    yeah, i like em... someone on ck5 made them for me... now who was that again? grrr... cant remember. Anyway, when I get my bender set up, I'll prolly make some for peeps too... maybe with some improvements that experience has hinted at..

    yeah, thats right... it was laketex. The set I got were his proto types. The got booger welds, but I scored em cheap and dont give a snot. ;) I've leaned my rig against 'em several times, not a single problem. They are solid and gimme an outstanding view too. Not to mention that they weight about 1/5th what a door weighs. ;)

    That is weird. for some reason those latches are the only thing I can't get a price for online :dunno:

    The latches are like 9.70 each and are right and left fitted. I called two weeks ago and they seemed to only have the rights and the lefts were a few weeks out (or vice versa).
