anyone running tubes on their 16.5 rims. i would imaging that this would eliminate the problem with the safety bead on these rims. any comments/drawbacks/etc??

Ran one for a long time when I discovered a patch on the side wall of one of my old 38.5's. Never had any problems at all. I never really ran low pressure though. I have been thinking about getting tubes for my 44's and screwing the tires to the rim to prevent sliping and tearing the tube. I'd be afraid to run a tube at lower pressures without some way to stop the valve stem from getting ripped off due to tire slippage.
