I have an 82 Jimmy, how hard would it be to put a 73-75 Complete convertible top tub on my frame? I will be installing a full cgae in te future and would like to have a full convertible like a Jeep(yuk!)... I doubt it would be a direct bolt up, anyone every do this?

    Thanks,

The frames are different in 73-77 to allow for the floor wich on the 73-77 comes all the way up to the front seats. Where as in the 82 your floor drops down behind the rear seat..

I knew that(no offense) I was thinking of converting the full topless tub to my style of floor.(thought of this after I posted the topic) If I did this, then I would probably have all the mounts lined up for the 82 frame.

    Thanks 78!

If your gonna go through all of that changing the floor and all why dont you just cut the top off of the 82 and then you'll have a full convertible

I don't know about the conversion process, but me thinks ye might have the most trouble finding a tub that isn't swiss cheese!

    You can't beat going Topless!
