TUFFY SECURITY CONSOLE

    HAS ANYONE OUT THERE PUT THEIR STEREO IN A TUFFY CENTER CONSOLE? I LOOKED AT THE PRODUCT REVIEWS AND IT LOOKS LIKE IT IS A STURDY UNIT. I THINK THAT MOST PEOPLE WOULD WANT THIS CONSOLE FOR ALL YOU TOPLESS BLAZERS OUT THERE.

    Those consoles are good, but it depends how the radio is mounted. Most of the time the radios are almost vertical in the consoles which is really bad if its a CD player. The suspension of the CD player is made to operate at a horizontal or near horizontal angle. So if you want it to work, go with a tape deck. Or a tape deck and CD Changer, because the changers CAN be mounted vertically.
