Every time I hear Charlie Daniels "The Devil went down to Georgia" it reminds me of high school and running around in my old 68 mustang /forums/images/icons/smile.gif with the 8 track cranked.

I was at a strip club in the cities and one of the bouncers was there on his night off and he was drunk as hell ..... giving me crap about my long hair ...... I told him to chill out a few times and he came up to me again and got right in my face and called me a queer .......... I took a step back and said, " I warned you. " Then proceeded to throw a punch which broke his nose ....... I know, because I felt it give under my hand and blood poured from him like a faucet ......... I just stood there until one of the bouncers on duty said, " Man, You better take off ! " ......... Apparently he saw this turd giving me crap and knew he deserved it ....... Anyway, I ran like hell out to my car and took off ..........Oh, I almost forgot, the song the stripper was dancing to at the time was Kickstart My Heart by Motley Crue ......... Every time I here that song, I'm right back there busting his nose ! /forums/images/icons/smirk.gif

I hear you man. I was born the wrong generation. I really doubt that anything from the 70's through the 90's will go down in history like the 60's did. I wish I'da been born in the late mid-late 50's. Then I could have lived through all the good stuff...maybe not...but I'da had one HELL of a time!! /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Nazareth's Love Hurts, The love of my life in '76 broke up with me. I got in my '69 Mach 1, punched in the 8 track and that song came on. Ripped the 8 track out of the player and threw it out the window. Loved to drive to the Eagles James Dean.
