How do I get the turn signal stalk out of the windshield wiper switch located in the steering column. I've got the switch with stalk hanging out of steering column now, but don't see how to remove stalk for replacement in my 89 GMC Jimmy w/ int.wipers and cruise.

You've gotta fish the wires through the column if I read you right.

Or, find one of the later S-10's with similar column that uses a connector right there. You can cut and solder the new connector in and not ever have to worry about it again.

Of course, if wiring itself is the problem, you'll have to fish it through the column anyway.
