All weekend I wheeled it, up dirt trails, rocks, forded rivers, no prob. All finished, backing into campsite, I bumped a rock and folded my tie rid in FREAKING HALF. The tow front tires were pointing together. Some guy helped out with a 3500 crewcab, bottle jack, and a length of chain and I drove home, slowly. Thank goodness for the kindness of strangers. Now I really have an excuse to swap in that Dana 60 front.

I'm strongly considering that. I like the picture where theyre jacking up the Toy on the tierod. And not too expensive either.

I thought it was a pic of a full size chevy being jacked up? Either way a kick butt tie rod.

Thanks all, It's on my list, soon as I get my 60 together. For now I swapped in the tie rod from my dead Burb. Man what a greasy stinken mess. I'm leaving for Capitol Reef Nat Park today. I'm glad I had a spare.
