i know the full covertable conversion has been talked to deth and too me has a few draw backs .So iv been contaplating a top like that of a geo traker where you keep full doors the very edges of the roof and the factory integrel rollbar so the body shouldn't flex real bad.I have the top from a 75 that I could cut the front half off and trim in to a removeable front skin and come up with a latch system wich sholdn't bee too hard. The ruf part will be welding in chanels for the skin to sit on . my dad veteren body man of 25 years said it could bee done but that i was a nut. What do you guys think, does it sound cool?

Believe it or don't, this one's been discussed too. If I'm reading you right, doing a "targa" style conversion on a half cab blazer. Sound cool, send pics when your done.

Would that be like those old Fiat X19's? I always liked that setup.

I think AIM industries sells a targa roof conversion for full size trucks.
