    :haha::haha::haha:

    Went to pick up Megs from work, and my Bimmer wouldn't start. Got a ride home from her roommate. So tomorrow, I get to swap a disgustingly larger starter, bolt some mirrors to my fenders, and go tow my own car home. :haha: At least the lot it's in is decently lit, and the car comes factory with three tow hooks. :eek1:

    Also on the agenda: Hanging out with Megs some more, tinkering with truck wiring, dignosing Bimmer trouble, doing laundry at my moms (:rolleyes:), seeing Wild Hogs, and watching the Illusionist with Megs.

    Today I got to get my little bro started with the wrench, and made some cookies. Damn good cookies, if I may say so. The pizza is in the oven, and I'm focking starving. And tired. And excited about Knucklehead. :D

    No clue. Damn German thing sneak attacked me. No warning. Have electricity, no starting.

    I just got up. When I get it figured out, CK5 will be the first to know. :haha:

    I dig the new sig line. :D

    Think the starter is disgustingly large? Try pulling one out of an IFS 4wd in a snowy parking lot. Getting it unbolted is easy, finding a way to get it out of the mess of brackets created by a 4" lift is another story. :doah:

    will not start why? turn over ok, no spark, no fuel, or haven't had a chance to check it yet?

    Get back at it with a clear refreshed head....sounds like you were running on fumes.

    No turnover. Probably a starter issue, drawing from my VAST RESERVOIR of tech knowledge. :haha:

    If the battery tests good, check cables, and connections, easy stuff first.

    Good luck

    Well, it started from where I left it last night. I replaced the alternator a little while ago, I'd guess it's not putting a big enough amperage to the battery, being that when I run accessories at idle, my stereo cuts out. :rolleyes: I think I'll go with the recommended Bosch instead of the bottom of the line piece of ****. I'll get the battery tested first.

    [/tech]

    That still makes me laugh. :D

    Ooh, and the truck isn't running. :haha: Got the new starter in (arms are tired). Found that two wires that bolted to the large post had lost their connectors, and may have shorted against something. No electricity. Gotta find out where the short goes. A lot of bastardized and unneccessary wiring. The P-PO had a camper, and apparently jerry-rigged everything. Lots of grounds that go to nothing, and a bundle of wires that terminate in loose ends in my bed. :haha:
