I just put in my blocks, which will only be ther euntil i get enough $$ for a shackle flip and i wanted to knowwhat is the most torqu i could tighten them down with? i may compete in a tractor/truck pull pulling a sled tomorrow and wanted to make sure there's no way these are comin out. i have the upper spring plate that is about 3/16" thick and "W" shaped for support- the u-bolts are i think 5/8s or 11/16s with u-bolt nuts and extra thick washer custom made from a auto shop specializing in dump trucks and tractor trailors, so they are pretty tough. what do ya'll think, ki have them at about 90ft.lbs now.
