U-bolts...Where O Where can I find U-bolts...ARGGHH!

    I cannot find any 3 1/2x13 u-bolts in this frickin town.....UGH!! Thats the only thing holdin me back is frickin u-bolts...Makes me want to go crazy. Ealier tonight I was just sittin on a peice of firewood looking at my nice pretty painted 14b ff and D44....Just sittin there waitin to be swapped in.....*sigh* Anyone got any u-bolts in the above size they want to donate to the "Joe Needs New U-bolts Fund"?

    U-bolts for a 14bff are 3 3/8" not 3 1/2"

    I have a stock u-bolt from a 14b in front of me now with a tape measure and it measures 3 1/2"..... /forums/images/icons/confused.gif /forums/images/icons/confused.gif

    dentonis in sacramento can bend them for you...my brother works there..they cost i think 10-12 bucks each..the shop is on florin-perkins road..just north of florin road /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

    I wish I could justify the drive all the way down there to get them.......How long does it take to get'em?

    10 mins tops..i go to the one in stockton...just because its less than a mile from our shop..and i am in and out of there in less that 10 mins for u-bolts /forums/images/icons/grin.gif /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

    So I could go down there, walk in with my moey and walk out 10-15 minutes later with U-bolts?

    i think they close at 5...my bro is home by 6 and he lives in lodi so thats about 45 mins away...they are open till noon on saturdays..sundays they are closed..the number is 916-387-8887 /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

    You're right...It's not. I'm gonna give TrucksSmart in Auburn a call tommorrow, Thats where I got the u-bolts I have now, If they have them, I'll just run down there....Only 25 miles and I think I paid like $8 bucks a piece for them.. If they don't, I'll probably ride down there. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

    Joe if you are nice enough you can always ask me to pick them up for you since I do work down here (Rancho). I can also check with dad and see if we have any left over from the shop.

    If you are desperate, I can give you a set of "stock" square-style u-bolts.... they are the ones that mount facing downwards and have a metal retaining cup that sits under the axle.

    I bought the "U-Bolt reversal kit" from ORD so I don't need the stock parts anymore.

    I just called TruckSmart in Auburn today and ordered some. $11 a piece. And to clearup the size issue, The guy checked Trailmaster's books, and according to Trailmaster the u-bolts for a 14b ff are 3 5/8". /forums/images/icons/grin.gif
