u-bolts

    does anyone know how tight to torque down the u-bolts on our trucks,i just put a 4" lift on . should i tighten them as much as i can or to a certain ft/lps

    1972 K/5 Blazer
    4"BDS suspension lift,33"tires,300hp 350,350 turbo tranny,factory tach,factoryvaccum gauge,np205,factory rollbar

    110 ft*lb if memory serves me.

    69 to 72 is 120 ft. lbs. according to my book.

    On mine I torque to 150ftlbs. They seam to stay tight all the time I check them before every tril ride.
