u-bolts

    i purchased 2" lift blocks from wes. my question is will the stock u-bolts work or what length would i need to get. my K5 is the the body shop so i can't measure them. please help.

    Stock u-bolt's won't work.. You'll need longer one's..
    If you buy them.. you might as well go ahead and purchase one's for a 4 inch lift.. in case you ever plan on going higher.

    ok, does anyone know the length of 4" lift block u-bolts. my blazer is still in the body shop 2hrs from here

    I can go measure mine, it'll be about 30 min tho.

    1984 K-5
    4" lift
    35x12.5 MTs
    buildin a 400 for it, any info greatly appreciated

    I have 4" blocks and mine are 12" long.

    I got them specially made for my truck at a local spring shop, $5 each. The 3/4 tons require a bigger U bolt, and they had to be really long because of the blocks and nobody had them in stock, so to the store I went.
