hey all, i am hoping somebody can help me out here as i don;t know what to ask for at the parts store. i need a few different u-joints.
one for a 14 bolt rear that will match up to an '81 rear drive shaft (it has the external snap rings. my current '88 has internal snap rings)
also need a u joint for a dodge dana 44 front yoke to my '88 front drive shaft. this one will be a little harder. the dodge yoke is a little smaller than my 10 bolt yoke was. that one is just a shot in the dark hoppin' somebody might know

    thanks in advance. /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

Do a search for 14 bolt combination u joints here on the site and the part numbers will come up.

Neapco part number 2-1153 gets you a Saginaw S44 (internal clips) to Spicer 1350 (external clips and 3/4 1 ton axle)

You guys need to start doing a search. I'm sick of pulling out this catalog to look up the same part number every time. If you're looking for something I've already posted, do a search. Otherwise PM me and I'd be glad to look in the catalog.

And no, no conversion joint will get you to or from a 1410. If you've got a 1410 yoke you're stuck with it. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Nobody. That's for the guy that searches 6 months from now and finds this post.

For 1350 they're the part numbers I listed.

I'm not trying to be an ass but the regurgitation factor of this board has gotten abnormally high lately.

For an 88 you need a Saginaw 44 to 1350 unless its a stock 4 speed rig in which case it'd already be a 1350. If you have internal clips on the driveshaft, that's not spicer 1330, that's saginaw.

re-read. i need a u joint for a drive shaft that uses the external clips. (the '81 d-shaft it is already lenghtened). and the stock one ('88 w/ internal clips) will become a spare. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
