Just curious what kind of ujoints everyone uses in their axle/spindle. What brand do yall recommend using? Mine sound like there dryer than a popcorn fart so i think it is time to replace them. Are there any that can be greased without removing the axle? thanks for any help

Yeah, thats because some people go to an 'el cheapo' parts store and get the cheap stuff and then go buy Spicers just to swap the joints into the other box and take the Spicer box back and keep the 'el cheapo' box which has the Spicer joint in it!!!!!!!!!

Brute force from auto zone lifetime warranty. Keep spares with me and check them about once a year super good and give them the quick check every trail ride when I clean up looking for spinning a loose nees or missing caps or clips. So far I have never had one fail. and if it does I get the replacement for free. Now almost every spicer on my truck has given it up now. I greased them often and they still failed. The failure was due to dried out seals or plugged greas passages.

It's not my damn planet monkey boy!

I am with you Grim and use Brute Force also. As long as you have most of the joint, they will replace it for free, no questions asked! Cant beat that with a stick!
