U-joints

    How bad do they get before they break? I have a new driveshaft and joints, with less than 3000 miles, adn Im starting to get some grinding type vibes as soon as I let off the gas at higher RPM's. I thought my driveline angles were close enough based on what I feel in the cab. But looks like I was wrong. My new rear pinion seal is trickling and like I said above now I have this vide.
    However, when I do the old manual test, getting up under the truck and grabbing the driveshaft, there is no play in the joints that I can feel.

    what your feeling is called gear rattle - it happends when your angles are excessive or not equal- mailny on lifted rigs-

    I've got a 5 degree shim in the rear and the T-case is lowered with the stock spacers and I have additional washers in with the spacers. I cant lower the T-case any more. The front driveshaft is rubbing the exhaust collector. What's the next step? Move the perches?? OR get a slip yoke eliminator and get the CV shaft?
