One thing I noticed just now that when I went to measure for my new driveshaft... I have the smaller sized yoke on the 12B I put in the rear.. well it is smaller then the u-jt in the 10B I took out. I know Napa has the adapter u-jt for the 14B, do they make on for this setup too? I would guess it is weaker the 10B jt that was in there... I can switch the yokes no prob, but would like to get it to the shop and on a hoist... taking that sucker off on the ground would be a huge PIA.

yes there is a crossover joint(bastard-joint i call em)[IMG]but i dont know the #.just bring both old joints w/ you to the parts store and tell em what the deal is.(it needs to go from a k5 w/ 10 bolt to ?w/ a 12 bolt)then compare the caps before you leave!

I'd say it is about a 1/2" shorter in u-jt width. I just got the old yoke off on my 10B using my impact. So I might as well try to take the yoke off the 12B too... it must be like pre 73 or whenever the change was I guess... I better check the front one too, but that has the later style u-jt's in the axles and later model spindle and bearings.
