lookin forward to some great fights. any predictions on Randy and Chuck? i want Randy to take it since he's the old man, but i think Chuck will probably beat him again. there are some great match ups on the UFC web site.

Same here. Randy has class, Chuck is an animal. Wish I could see it, I'll be on the road though :(

I'm having a bunch of people over to watch it tomorrow night. Should be an awesome fight. I predict Chuck will win.
I'm taping it hopefully, so if anyone misses it we can mail it around.

I'm going with "The Natural". I know he must be training very hard to avenge his loss. He is my favorite for a variety of reasons:
    he rarely talks trash
    he shows really great technique
he constantly is evolving as a fighter

Sounds likely - but I think Riggs can take Diaz. Sanchez proved that Diaz can be beaten.

Don't get me wrong, I like Chuck, but his last win over Couture was slop in my opinion. I wouldn't be surprised to see him win, but I'd root for Couture.

Liddell got lucky last tiem. I won't deny his ability, but The Natural is a more rounded, more experienced, classier fighter. Randy in the 2nd. Tap out, sucker.

did anyone think that unintentional poke in the eye was a factor to Randy's loss last time? i think it was to some degree. those guys are tough and with all that adrenaline i think Randy's eye was either hurt more then he would admit to the ref or atleast blurred. and he didn't see as good as he could have out of that eye. he got hit on that side when he was ko'ed. not to mention with a eye injury that can pull you out of your consintration on the fight at hand while trying to get your vision back. to Randy's credit though he NEVER said anything about it or used it as an excuse. if you watch the replay of the fight it was a good poke though.

I'd bet that had something to do with it, but like you said, his reaction demonstrates his character.

Now if we can just get those WWE ****s into the octagon with some real fighters...

I got it all taped. Missed the 1st match up though...someone forgot to press "record" ;)

It was great. Although the Liddell/Couture match could have been a bit better IMO...

well there was some great fights. i felt bad for frank mir and his come back fight, he was pounded but good. it was a bummer to see randy loose but i knew that was going to be the outcome. bitter sweet to see him retire too but he has had a good run and is a champion and a legend for sure. sooo glad diaz lost to rigg's. i dont like him much, he is a very good fighter but a poor sport. that two losses in a row. all i can say is......ahhhaa :D . man am i lookin forward to ufc 58 too.
