    does any one got some good pics of what the body mounts should look like under a k5...i have a feeling mine are real bad. i know they probobly arent great..but i got half my floor getting replaced..and ill need to do body mounts...i just dont wanna take them out cuase im practicly going to have to cut them out!

    Right click the red x where the picture should be, and look at the properties for the picture. In the properties is the link to the location of the webshots gallery picture he is trying to show. Type in that address in your browser and go there. Hope this helps! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

    yes those would be great..and WOW..on the pic that is right in the post there...the cone shaped part of the rubber on the bottom side..does that get squished over time..cause i dont even have that, and if i do its all squished up..

    You should be able to see rubber on all the front ones UNDER the bolt head. Looking at them from under the truick, closest to you to farthest away, you should see: bolt head. Washer. Body mount. (round) Floor.

    The rears are a bit different, the bolts come from the top in at least 4(?) places, and so you have a nut, then washer(? might just be a metal plate fused to the rubber rectangle) then rubber rectangle, then the body.

    If you are doing a lot of work anyway, bodymounts that are questionable are a "mightaswell" item if you ask me. I've seen bad core support mounts in action, and its not pretty when the truck starts to flex.

    Body mounts are cheap as hell.. and if you have never seen them and you think they are bad.. then they are bad. Go get some new ones...
