Got a MobiWeld on my Blazer. Mounted the main box in the interior, on the floor hump where the manual trans shifter would come through the floor, as forward as I can (I'm running an auto).

Like it a lot. But it's not cheap and it's a tool that you hope you won't have to use. But we have.

I have a Ready Welder II and love it. I installed two batteries and can weld not only on my rig but can take out the batteries and go where ever I need to to weld on a rig whether it be 100' up the trail or I pull my rig next to somebody elses and weld. I have two 25' cables to make a total of 50' of welding cables. If I need farther than that is when I just pull the batteries and go with them to the spot needing welding. I gave $426 + tax for it.
