went out to frank raines for a few hours on saturday, and scratched the bejeezus outta my truck. it's not a trailer queen, but it has decent black paint. when i left the park, it looked like someone had dragged a dirty pushbroom down the side.
so today, i kinda half-assed washed it off, then used TurtleWax ColorMagic. Freakin wow. i can still see the scratches, but only the deep ones, and they aren't nearly as visible.
    i highly recommend the product.

Try using some rubbing compound like 3M Perfect-it or finishing compound like 3M Finesse-it. Test them (especially the Perfect-it because it is more heavy duty) on an inconspicuous area though to make sure it doesn't take off too much paint. It should be able to remove the scratches if they aren't that deep. The Finesse-it will give it a good shine.
