bummer we couldn't get that trail you were hoping for. that would have been cool.

Where is long barn area where these trails are located? How many hours away?

Long Barn is just above Sonora.. It is about 3 hours from the Bay area. When you hit the back side of the ridges you can see Yosimite.. We will pick a trail by there and still be able to go on the trail I was talking about...Dan

I finally talked to the person I needed too. We can not adopt the trail that I wanted to. Part of that trail is on private land..He recommend two other trails. One was called Trout creek Jeep trail..I said no to that one because of the Jeep part. And he laughed.. The other one is called Rocky ridge trail. They are in the same basic area.. He is going to send me a map with high lighted trails we can adopt.. We have to go there at least once a year. Usually in the spring.. But he recommends twice a year.. That way it is kept up better and not as much work is envolved each time.. I should have the maps in a few days.. We also get Nor-Cal Big Dawgs name put at the head of the trail...Anybody up for a run up there pretty soon and check these trails out to see witch one we want...Dan

Yeah...I'm down too!!! Just name the time and the place and I'll do my best to make it. I've put to much time, money, sweat, and blood into my K5 to just let is sit there...this gives me a great reason to get it out on the trails.
