Here's the dupe on how my final chemo treatment went.

Everything went swell. Like the last few times, I was drinking milk the next day.

And like I just said, chemo's now over with. Next date that anything related to this Hodgkin's stuff happens is Jan. 21, when I'm scheduled to have a PET scan to see if there's ANY cancerous cells at all that all that chemo may have missed. If anything comes up, I'm guessing they'll then schedule a shot of radiation for me.

I've heard that PET scans are almost exactly like CAT scans (which I've had before) only difference being they inject you with a different kind of dye. Anybody know for sure?

Not really. I did walk back to the car, but I was weak from then on until several hours after dad gave me my Neulasta shot the next day. I've got all my energy back now.

I'm actually not sure now. When it all started, they told me what drugs they'd be loading me up with, but now I've forgotten the names of them.

Glad to hear you are doing better:D As for a PET scan i know that they inject you with something and it shows up up on the scan if it is cancerous. That is about all i can tell ya.

Sometimes I feel like I've been snookered.

I just found out my PET scan is THIS Wednesday, DECEMBER 21, instead of JANUARY 21!

Why can't doctors be more clear on certain things!!!

OK, I'm through with my rant.

The thing that got me a little annoyed is that they said I can't do any strenuous activities 24 hours before it, so that means the drumset is off-limits tomorrow after 10 in the morning.
