upgrade question on windshield wipers

    stupid question, but has anyone tried bigger wiper/wiper blades ? these rigs have alot of windshield that doesnt get cleaned.im interested in the largest that will work on our rigs. thanks. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif

    one put 20" wipers with no prob. i think thats 2" larger than stock

    I've got 18" dual wipers on mine. I think mine came with 16" stock.

    yea they came 16" stock...i just put new ones on mine..

    well just went out and measured my blades and they are 20" and way better than the stock size.

    Depends on the year of your rig. The only factor is the "curvature" (like that word) of your windshield. If you have an older style rig you will have more curve in the glass I believe. Therefore the longer wipers don't track on the ends.
    Newer models have more flat glass so longer works.
