Hey guys, all of us at Performance off road are putting a trip together to URE opening weekend. We have the big group camp reserved. We will have our own shower facilities and everything.

To ofset the cost of the campground, come stay with us for 5 bucks a night. This will be cheaper than camping anywhere else, plus we can all bull**** and enjoy cold beverages after the ride.

Just a note, I am single daddin' right now, so I will have my 5 and 4 year olds. So dont let the kids be a reason not to come.

Plus, there will be alot of Jeepsters there to pick on!!!!

    PM me for more info.

    Rob

I may be there, if I get the rims welded up and tires mounted!! I have a good bit to do to get it ready, but I might be able to make it.

    More info...

I have recieved several PM's concerning this get together, so here is a bit more info.

This is just a reason to all hang out and camp in the same area. Some people like staying at different places, but this makes it hard to organize trail rides. If we are all in the same area, we can hang out before and after the rides, check out each others junk, let the kids all play, drink the beverages of your choice, etc. All this for the same price as camping at a primitive camp site (like Hunts, where we usually camp, but they dont have showers). We are not looking at making money, just offsetting the cost of the campsite.

Most of us from here in Fayetteville, and a few of the Muddevils will be up there Friday night to cook, drink, and hang out.

Others can come up and camp with us on Saturday. Whatever.

For those who have not been to URE, there are quite a few trials that stockers can go and have a good time. Just make sure your ride is in decent mecahnical condition and you will be fine. Even the hardest trails have by-passes, and if they dont, all of us have winches and straps to get you over an obstacle. Bottom line, is come out and hang out. Heck, you can even bring the fishing poles in fish in Badin lake if you done want to wheel, then hang out at camp.

Just meet up at URE at the Group Camp ground. We all drive pretty conspicous junk, so we will be easy to spot!!

Depends, I have to erect the garage next Saturday. Won't have time to prep any, as I work long days and a lot going on. See what comes up after the erection! :wink1:

Ok....Here is the latest and greatest.

I am still waiting on some parts (but they are not mission essential), Steve will hopefully get his tranny back from the welder tomorrow, so he will be good to go, but we are not sure who else is going.

There will be 2 groups heading up next Friday.

The first one will be at 1300. It will be Steve and me, and we are meeting at Performance off-road on Reilly.

The second will also meeting at Performance at 1700, and convoy up there. I am not sure who will be in that one.

Of course, anybody can come whenever, but we like to convoy up there.

Let me know who wants to join these convoy's so we can plan accordingly.

    My number is 910 551 8625.

I am coming, 99% sure, I wont be able to leave Jville until around 430pm. There are a few others that want to come also, depends on their trucks though. I have no idea where this place is, so if you would give a address so I can look it up on mapquest. Never been to Uwharrie either:doah: .

Me too, but I have been up there the past 2 weekends working on the trails and I promised my little girl we would go fishing on Friday and try and bag a Tom turkey on Saturday morning. You all have fun. I will definitely meet up with you guys at a later date though.

No problem Don...I know how it is.

We really need to start planning the Spring Blazer Ride somewhere.

My vote is Tellico, but I am up for anywhere.
