Use UPS or USPS to ship parts?

    Which have you guys found to be cheaper to ship things? I know UPS is better, but which is usually cheaper? Thanks!

    I usually get a quote from both. Sometimes UPS is cheaper and sometimes USPS is.

    Usually UPS is cheaper for me for bigger items (but not bulkly odd shaped items like say a step bar). Greyhound is sometimes a good cheap option too you might consider looking at too. They sometimes will ship items bus depot to bus depot....

    anything over 5 lbs ups ground is usually cheaper. usps is in the letter business. ups is in the package business. plus the insurance is cheaper and its trackable. if you go to a store like ours (Pak Mail) of course there is gonna be a little added to ups counter rates for us to survive. but if you go to a ups counter they will almost always be cheaper on packages. and a lot more timely
