v10 - k5?

    i was wondering what the difference between a k5 blazer and a v10 blazer is, i recently just found out that i have a v10 blazer

    ALL THE WAY UP TO 91 THAT I KNOW OF. JUST A DESIGNATION FROM GM. A WAY TO TELL IT FROM THE S10.

    On my title... carfax report.. and at autzone it says v10 blazer... i have a 87 305 TBI.. custom deluxe.

    6in 87' K5 w/ 35" BFG muds.
    305/Sm465/ NP208
    Kn filter--&gt; 20hp haha
    I got my 4.56!!!!
    Next.., 2in body and 37" SSR's!

    hmmmmm.....interesting.....my title show K10. It's an 84, though. Maybe the year has something to do with it.

    You must have a late 87 model.In 1988 GM went to a CK designation (new body style pickup) and an RV designation (old body style Blazer,Suburban and 1 ton pick ups).Your blazer must have been produced late in 87.As far as the S10 post goes,they used 'S' and 'T' as a designation.

    My 90 is a V-10.....Are we still allowed to talk blazers if we are not K5'ers...LOL
